Officer Campus Update

Building towards middle school commencing with Year 7 in 2027

Office opening of the Soccer Pitch

The Officer Campus recently celebrated the official opening of its new soccer pitch, a significant milestone as we prepare to welcome our Year 7 students in 2027. The ribbon cutting ceremony was led by Maranatha Christian School’s Property Manager Mr Mark Johns and Head of Campus Mrs Jenny Rus, marking another exciting step in the continued growth of the campus. The new pitch will provide students with an outstanding space for sport, recreation and community connection for years to come.

Underground Infrastructure Works Underway

Over the next two to three weeks, approximately 180 metres of trenching and pipework will be installed across the campus. While some pathways and areas of the grounds will be temporarily affected, these works represent an important milestone in preparing the campus for future growth and development. Additional conduits are also being installed to support future expansion opportunities as the Officer Campus continues to grow.

Front Fence Progress

Significant progress continues at the front of the Officer campus, with the blockwork and new fencing panels now complete. Over the coming weeks, sliding security gates and pedestrian access gates will be installed at both ends of the property, further enhancing site security and accessibility. The project will be finalised with the installation of illuminated school signage, with all works currently on track for completion by the end of July.

Maintenance Shed and Future Car Parking

A new 30m x 12m Maintenance Shed is near completion behind the medical centre boundary.

Once complete, this purpose-built facility will support the ongoing care of the campus. The existing shed in the car park will then be removed, allowing for the creation of additional parking for families, with works expected to be completed in Term 3.

The new soccer pitch will be handed over officially in the coming weeks.

Looking Ahead

Planning for the new secondary spaces is progressing well and we look forward to sharing further updates soon as we continue preparing for the introduction of Year 7 in 2027 and beyond.

New Soccer Oval

As we prepare for the launch of Year 7 at our Officer campus in 2027, we are pleased to share the first of several updates on developments across the site. It is encouraging to see this vision taking shape.

Earlier this year, a new competition-sized soccer pitch (100m x 60m) was constructed, representing a major investment in our sports facilities. The oval features a fully sand-based surface, advanced drainage, quality turf and irrigation supported by rainwater collection. Now in its ‘maintenance phase’, the oval will be handed over to the school in June and is expected to be fully established and ready for use by October 2026. This space will be a valuable addition for both our current students and future secondary programs.
